Pre-Treatment Guidelines

General Pre-Treatment Instructions for All Peels:

  1. Consultation: Schedule a consultation to discuss your skin concerns, goals and medical history with our skincare specialist. This helps in selecting the appropriate peel for your skin type and condition.
  2. Skin Preparation: For 1-2 weeks before your peel, avoid using products containing retinoids, alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta hydroxy acids (BHAs) and other exfoliating agents unless otherwise directed by your provider.
  3. Sun Protection: Minimize sun exposure and use a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) daily to protect your skin.
  4. Hydration: Keep your skin well-hydrated and avoid using new skincare products that might irritate your skin.
  5. Medications: Inform your provider about any medications you are taking, as some might need to be paused before the peel.
